Hotel Montecarlo

It was fairly clean with friendly efficient and extremely helpful stuff at the reception desk. The food was good - a wide range of options. The hotel's location was unbeatable, adjacent to the centre of Venice and very near Rialto Bridge. I checked out Edinburgh Castle, that was set not too far away from the property.

Reasonably priced place, had a really really nice stay for eight nights. We had a varied and warm breakfast with prosecco and drink to choose from, could find something for everyone. The staff were all efficient, smart. The hotel was in a magnificent and perfect location, to the Rialto or Academia. Also, it was 2 km from Princes Street Gardens.

Well, Wi-Fi signal was very weak.

All the staff was hospitable, settled my issues. The bed was nice, and the room itself was quiet.

The breakfast offered a huge variety of options and was substantial and varied. The location was excellent and perfect there, very close to St Macro plaza.

A double room was reasonably priced and I really enjoyed it. It was stylish, and the bed was nice.

Its location is marvellous very close to attractions.

Charming little, fairly clean venue with magnificent and perfect location so close to best attraction, the iconic Rialto Bridge, and good restaurants.

Everything was very comfortable, including substantial breakfasts with freshly pressed coffee and usual continental even prosecco. Central location just off major tourist attractions, Piazza San Marco, the Basilica, Palazzo Ducale and Campanille di San Marco and cafes and restaurants, it was in a quiet area.

Charming small and quaint venue, amazing location short walk to water bus to Murano, which is a beautiful island, with a much slower pace than Venice, well worth a visit and Piazza San Marco, the Basilica, Palazzo Ducale and Campanille di San Marco.

The room was stylish and brand-new, we had an electric kettle and glassware. The breakfast was varied and nice hot with omlette and delicious cakes and drink to choose from including champagne and the restaurant food was nice. The staff were efficient and always had a smile.

Large classically decorated room with view over city. Modern interior design, exceptionally comfortable beds. Really quiet area, very central location close enough to a Morano glass factory, San Marco-St Marks Bassilica, Dogge's Palace, St Mark's Square, Grand Canal and gondola rides and a supermarket.

It was fairly clean and top quality place, very well decorated and brand-new rooms. We ate in the nice restaurant for dinner which was reasonably priced.

Quiet room with windows overlooking the skyline, all the facilities, for instance. So many fab options for breakfast, such as eggs, bacon, and cheese.

Classic triple room was brand-new. The bed was comfortable, and I had large bathroom.

The room met requirements, it was well decorated and well-appointed with an amazing view over the roofs of venice, sunlight, as example.

It is a wonderful small and reasonably priced property located in San Marco district short walk to including the boat ride, and St Mark's Square.

New-fashioned and classically decorated rooms with a balcony, very pleasant staff. In the centre of the city, very convenient. Again, not far from The Grave of a Nazi Dog.

The location was marvellous, close to the train station, it's a plus.

Well, the area was rather old overall.

The hotel is situated in the centre of the city, at a short distance from Cannaregio.

Location: good, close to the big and beautiful San Marco square. Also, to the Murano island. The rooms on first level.

The venue is GORGEOUS, fairly clean and the location is marvellous and fab not far from the square and all kinds of shopping and restaurants, all attractions and transport links and water bus to Murano, which is a beautiful island, with a much slower pace than Venice, well worth a visit.

I had the double room with all needed, the breakfasts were varied. The service was excellent with a simple check-in.

We had the classic triple room which was very well decorated and air conditioned with a balcony. A huge variety of food for breakfast, everything was fabulous.

The location was magnificent, you can visit Saint Mark's Square by walking. Beautifully decorated room for 2 bedroom, everything was very comfortable. Varied breakfasts, I liked eggs, bacon and cheese.

Overall it was a pleasant stay for 2 nights business trip. Top-class and qualified staff, offered us wake up service and ironing. Last time we stopped we had an airy, soundproof room with wonderful views, delicious ‘ light' cakes plus coffee. This accommodation was in the central location easy to access to sightseeing spots.

The location of the hotel was central, near to Piazza San Marco, main attractions and many nice restaurants.

It has marvellous location for visiting a cathedral church. The airport is 15 km away, easy to get to.

Everything was very good, had a fine stay for a short visit. I got a stylish and compact room with marble bathroom. The location was unbeatable and incredible, for example, a main street was just a short walk away from the hotel. Also, the area was safe.

The hotel had indeed an easy location right in San Marco square. San Marco district was definitely worth visiting. The breakfast had plenty of eggs, bacon and cheese.

The total stay was fine on vacation. My room was compact and silent, reasonably priced and with fresh fluffy towels daily. The food was incredible. The location turned out to be fab and easy. The hotel was set in an excellent area.

Everything was perfect, peaceful location close to Venice, Saint Mark's square, Venezia, enjoyable experience. Appreciated our rooms with a balcony. A shower, a hair dryer and a bidet were a plus.

The property was in the centre of the city. Plus it was just 1 km from a byzantine shipyard.

It has a stunning location adjacent to other places of interest, Venice, and Murano.

This hotel was excellent base for exploring Venice, greatly enjoyed it. On-site restaurant antico pignolo was a bonus, had dinner there.

Easy to get around Venice with a boat dock located really close to the hotel. A private kitchen was ok for us...
