Hotel La Calcina

It was brand-new, delightful and with a view.

The room was wonderful and comfy with a view, really enjoyed it. We had a brilliant meal at the gourmet restaurant.

The food was savoury and there were a good choice of dishes in the menu. The location was absolutely ideal and close to places we visited. It was located in a very very nice area.

In overall the room was spotless and beautifully decorated and with at least partial view of the channel, nice facilities plus a balcony. The location was fantastic in a very quiet & safe neighborhood, minutes from a ferry port. Moreover, the hotel was 5 minutes drive from Madame Tussauds London. I loved the local cuisine served in the gourmet restaurant.

Appreciated it amongst others I visited before. The hotel was clean, everything was perfect. The location was magnificent and particularly good, on a delightful open Canal, and my bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The hotel was clean, facilities were modern, marvellous and stunning location so close to new Pinault museum as well as water taxi at the landing stage right next to La Calcina. Tastefully decorated room and brand-new, I appreciated it. Exceptional staff and everything was perfect. The service provided there was exceptional.

Modest, small property. Pleasant staff and gorgeous breakfasts with croissants, quality local food and yoghurt. 15 km away from Marco Polo airport. Very quick check in and exceptional service.

Picturesque hotel with fab food and accommodating staff.

The rooms were spotless and elegant kept by the extremely friendly staff. There was a magnificent view of sea. Excellent and beautiful location, it was close to a boat dock. Besides, I was close to a lagoon and a garden.

The breakfast was gorgeous, with variety of food. Location: the hotel was just off the railway station, Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim museums and all water taxis-private and local.

The staff is excellent quality and amicable and the food is fabulous. The units are nicely decorated, delightful for kettle. They offer a safe box, a mini-bar, and central heating.

It has both outstandingly accommodating and efficient stuff.

The bathrooms are extremely small.

Actually everything was perfect, my next choice again in Venice. It was a picturesque, quirky hotel with incredibly welcoming staff. The location was magnificent and particularly good for my stay, 400 metres from Zattere. The area was very quiet close to business that is all part of the experience, the resturant and a delightful open Canal. The service was exceptional, totally satisfied.

Overall relaxing stay for Biennale three nights. Clean hotel in a lovely building short walk to the Accademia museum, with lovely views of the skyline, the Zattere and all water taxis. Pleasant staff; very quick check in.

Clean place with magnificent view of the skyline. Delicious breakfast, immaculate twin/double room. Incredible location, very quiet area, next to the Guggenheim, off the busier tourist bustle, and quiet Dorsoduro, right near vaporetto stop with many connections. Plenty of food options around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue.

The breakfast was enjoyable and with nice fresh fruit salad.

Food was outstanding and I stayed in the guest room, it was elegant. The location was excellent and beautiful in a safe area, just off Palladio's Redentore as well as Venice for New Year's Eve. All the services were great.

Beds and pillows in my king room were exceptionally comfortable. It had LOVELY views of the skyline.

The hotel exceeded high expectations, it was a really lovely stay on a business trip. I had an elegant single room with a magnificent view of sea. The location was unbeatable and peaceful, for example, a main street was a 10-15 minute walk from the venue

the king room was spacious with exceptionally comfortable beds. the location was marvellous, not too far away from a landmark bridge. it was a very quiet area, a perfect base for me.

The staff were pleasant and a savoury breakfast was provided. The room I stayed in was immaculate and delightful with sea views.

Everything was great, had a such great stay on a business trip. The location was best possible and the staff was welcoming and exceptional during the whole stay! There was a gourmet restaurant nearby.

One of our favorite spots rialto bridge was adjacent to this place. Extensive breakfast each morning. Location was GREAT, just 0.6 miles to old town.
